Clematis 'Snow Queen' is a gorgeous variety of Clematis with pearly white flowers that have faint tinges of purplish-blue leading to striking, dark burgundy red stamens. The large white Clematis flowers are 5-7 in (12-18 cm) in diameter and appear profusely in late spring/early summer, then again in the early fall. Snow Queen Clematis flowers face upwards towards the sky.
Clematis vines are most often planted near a trellis, patio wall, or some structure for support. They can also be planted sprawling over shrubs, stumps, or through perennial gardens.
Clematis is best planted in a location where the foliage and flowers are mostly in the sun, but the roots are kept cool and moist in the shade. Consider using mulch around the root zone in summer and fall.
