The rounded, patterned flower buds on this treasure remind us of turtle shells and are held on thistle-like serrated foliage. As buds open, they reveal feathery flowers, and each petal on these large, ivory blooms is a tube with finely fringed edges. Blooms have a goose down appearance, and morning dew on the petals sparkles like glitter.
